We are freelance Electrical Estimators with 11 years’ experience working for contracting companies in the construction industry. If you have a short term, or irregular need for an experienced electrical estimator, but are unable to justify taking on full time staff, then we can help.
Based in Newry, Co Down. Providing an accurate, comprehensive and confidential estimating service. Generally work on pre-designed packages, but can also prepare a preliminary design for tender purposes from a performance brief, and complete a design and build tender. Whilst we have an extensive list of possible specialist sub-contractors, we would happily use companies which are on your preferred list.

Depending on your requirements, we can either provide a labour and materials breakdown, for completion in-house, or, following your instructions, provide a fully costed package ready for submission. We are able to provide estimates on a number of different options from excel spread sheet format to Amtech estimating software depending on the clients requirements.

We have prepared electrical packages valued between £50,000 to £10 million, for commercial, industrial and high specification domestic premises. Projects have been in new build or refurbishment properties, for schools, universities, hospitals, offices, banks, trading floors, light industrial units, general manufacturing, and many others. As we work independently it is very important that you contact us to discuss time scales for the return of tenders to ensure necessary time is given to provide you with the correct details, costs and return dates for all tenders.

Estimating
& Quantity Surveying

We use the Amtech XG estimating software to compile all estimates. This links in with the Luckins Live database to ensure we continually have access to the most up to date industry products and trade prices.

If your in-house estimating team also uses the Amtech XG software then we can send you a file upon completion of the estimate to import straight into your own software. However, if you use a different system then this is not a problem, we will forward you the full details of the estimate in a different format such as PDF or Excel, from which you will still be able to see how the estimate is built up including all material costs, discounts and labour times. We can make any alterations you require quickly and efficiently in-house at your request.

AutoCAD We can Quickly & Cost Effectively Produce As-Fitted / As Installed / As Built / Record Drawings for the ‘O&M’ manuals:

Electrical Lighting, Power, Fire Alarm, Data & Communications, Security, Air Conditioning & Plumbing Systems Drawings, For Mechanical & Electrical Contractors, HVAC, Sprinkler, Security, Fit-Out Contractors, Consultants & Specialists.

These Drawings are usually required at the End of a Project, to form part of the Project’s Handover, where the drawings are an important part of the `Operating & Maintenance’ manual information.
